Object Data Blocks is a high performance, high productivity
object persistence environment for .Net developers. It is a commercially supported
open source product hosted at
Codeplex.
Object Data Blocks supports an agile development process, supporting constant
refactoring of the data abstration layer. Both table and query objects can be
refactored, reused and subclassed to enable higher productivity and a more
natural development style when in creating data driven applications. Changes can
be deployed to a database via the deployment tool or through .net code - without
any data loss. Some knowledge of relational databases is an advantage but not
essential.
For corporate environments, comparisons can be run between assemblies and
underlying database schemas to provide deployment scripts in SQL to meet any
Database Administrator's requirements
ERM Diagram 4.1 has been released
and is now available for download.
Version 4.1 addresses any
issues found since the release of version 4.0 and adds the
following functionality
Connector improvements. The routing algorithm has been
enhanced and the connector should take less bends. The Jump
property now instructs a connector to draw a "bridge" over
other connectors below it in the zorder.
Interactive Mode improvements. The event model and the
information available when adding elements interactively at
runtime has been greatly enhanced following feedback from
developers.
Nested Table Groups. Table Groups can now be added to
other table groups to create multiple levels of table rows
in a Table.
Element rotation. Shapes now have support for a Rotation
property and Rotate method. The shape is drawn rotated
around it's center and all child elements including text are
drawn rotated at any angle.
Animation. An Animation and Animate class have been
added to allow you to create animations for you diagram
elements which can then be saved along with other properties
of the diagram. See the Animation and Animator classes for
more details
Ruler guides. The Ruler class now provides better
feedback in relation to the user interaction with the
diagram in the form of semi transparent highlights on the
ruler.
Miscellaneous. Models can now be zoomed in/out using the
CTRL+PageUp and CTRL+PageDown shortcuts.
